Americans Supporting Africans with Aids
Following a visit a number of years ago by a member of ASA to Cape Maclear to see the work of the Trust ASA now actively supports the BRMT. The Trust is very grateful to all who support ASA in the U.S. Their annual donation to the clinic in Cape Maclear ensures the objectives of ASA are being met in Malawi.
Americans Supporting Africans with AIDS, Inc. was founded in January of 2002. It is based in Cambridge, MA and was formed as a grassroots organization inspired by the magnitude of the devastation AIDS has brought to Africa. The Mission of Americans Supporting Africans with AIDS (ASA) is to help extend the lives of some of the over 25 million people living in Africa with HIV/AIDS and reduce the spread of the pandemic to uninfected individuals. ASA aims to accomplish this by mobilizing support in the United States for assistance in treatment and care programs and prevention interventions in Africa .
