New Laboratory

The new Emer Nolan Laboratory

Dr Antonio Pedrotta has conducted an intensive laboratory training programme for the past number of months. Funded by the Nolan Family in memory of the late Emer Nolan who worked with the Trust in Cape Maclear. In conjunction with the Malawi Ministry of Health Dr Pedrotta has been training local and ex patriate medical people in the fundamentals of Malaria and T.B.testing. Due to the remote location of the clinic testing on site is a very significant step for the physicians working in the clinic.

The new Emer Nolan Laboratory has been equipped and will be maintained with funding from the Nolan family’s extraordinary generosity to the Trust.

Kindly donated jewellery

Local jeweller Niamh Utsch has kindly donated some magnificent yellow and white gold handmade jewellry to the Trust.

This jewellry is offered for sale with all proceeds going to help fund medication for the clinic.
